dropping
rain water is leaking from the roof and dropping on the new carpet.
the faucet doesn't work very well. that's why the water keeps dropping all night long.
hi,
is this usage of 'to drop' correct, please?
thanks

Re: dropping
No, when you are talking about water in very small amounts it is "dripping." there are drops of water, but they drip. In both sentences, it should be "dripping"
