Hey there!!
Can I ask,
What are the definitions of the following idioms:
1. High Fore
2.Bad Tongue
3.Bosom Friend
4.Cold War
5.Pink of Health
Please, I need them now, for my project.
As Quick as now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
Don't know the first two. The only reference I can find to High fore is in the context of a 8-meter high fore bridge collapse. In that case, the high belongs to the 8-meter, and the fore bridge was a part of the bridge before it crosses the water.
3.Bosom Friend - a very good, dear, close friend.
4.Cold War - that period of (1945-1989 or so?) when the then two Superpowers had the power to destroy us all, but did not.
5.Pink of Health - very healthy. Has nothing to do with colour.
It means, the very peak of something. Shakespeare used it thusly, in R&J:
Mercurio: Why, I am the very pinke of curtesie.

Welcome to the forums. How much actual research did you do? We normally do not expect to do people's assignments for them, but are happy to comment on what is done.
