coincidence
The following sentences are about the power of coincidence and I don't understand some parts which I marked red. Can you help me?
1. The information-rich environment of modern life itself is a source of many coincidence. ( what does itself indicate? modern life? or environment?)
2. We maybe highly skilled at detecting and connecting anomalus events but that doesn't help us understand events so impressive that they( what does ' they' indicate?) are readily noticed-but not easily explained. -- if possible, can you please paragrphase this sentence?
3. Radian has been testing coincidence on a global scale since 1998.

Re: coincidence
I am also an english learner,I just try to answer your question.
1."itself' indicates the environment.
2."they" indicates the events so impressive.
I think the sentence means "Even though we have the excellent skill of detecting and connecting anomalus events ,the skill can not help us understand events so impressive, which are readily noticed-but not easily explained"
3.I do not know what is your question about this sentence.

Probably that it has been testing evidence of coincidence on the basis of information that comes from throughout the world.
Alternatively, it could mean that Radian has used a vast amount of evidence in its testing.

Re: coincidence
Can you please explain the exact meaning of #2 in other words?
what does it mean by ... but that doesn't help us understand events so impressive that they are readily noticed- but not easily explained.
Does it mean the events are so impressive that the events are noticed by people very propmply but we cannot explain eaily why the events occurred?
