Here are a few sentences in which "one oneself" is used:

1. He found himself in this situation.
2. They suddenly found themselves without money.
3. The shy man found himself talking to girls.

The above implies the person doesn't realize the situation or doesn't intend to be in the situation.

4. He finally found himself.
The implies the person finds what he likes to do.

Here is the question:

He found himself as a teacher.

In this case, does "find oneself" go with the phrase in the first three sentences or with the 4th sentence? Thanks.

Is it possible that in some rare case the structure "find oneself as a teacher" could also mean the person didn't realize that he was actually working as a teacher?

Quite true. I have been teaching the English Dictionary reading to students of MBA, CA, Medical colleges, i.e., the etymology and pronounciation part and about usages, as a homage to my late father, who taught me all these skills, though I am not a teacher. But, now I suddenly found one day, when some of those whom I taught for free, were respecting me and addressing me as a teacher of English language. That day I found oneself as a teacher.
