Hello. Could someone tell me please how to read the following years correctly, check if the ones I wrote are correct and perhaps give some more acceptable options? Which are the most common options?

-one thousand five hundred and nine [is it a right way of reading this year?]
-fifteen oh nine [is it informal way of writing that year?]
-[fifteen hundred and nine] - incorrect I think, isn't it?

-ten oh one [is it informal way of writing that year?]

Keep it simple and use the standard way of spelling out the numbers, like "Two thousand twenty," "Six hundred fifty," etc. And there is no need to use "and" in any of the numbers, either.
Never use, "Ten oh one," "Twenty oh eight," etc. I thought that was another language at first (no joke).

In BrE we say two thousand and eight, for example, we do not leave out the 'and'.
