    Talking What's the difference between Speak And Talk ?

    Hello ,

    I've heard this sentence in one song :

    And maybe someday we will meet, and maybe talk and not just speak

    What's the meaning of that ?

    Talk not just speak ...

    In this context we can presume that the conversation will be meaningful. 'Talk' is being used to show the depth; whereas, 'speak' implies a light/ meaningless conversation.
