    Exclamation the word "you"

    in an essay i did about cheating, i wrote things like "if YOU are a nascar fan, YOU probably remember...." "that YOU will read about..."

    instructor said to avoid the "YOU", but what do i replace it with????

    There are different ways of wording it:

    Anyone who's a nascar fan will probably remember


    If you cannot think of a way to reword something, take a break and come back to it.
