Thank you for your reply. I once talked with an American net pal online. I asked him whether I should wear suit to meet an American client. He responded, "I had thought you were a woman." I told him I am a woman. But he said I used the word-suit that made him think I am a man.

Is there any way to distinguish women's suit from men's suit in English words?

By the way, can I ask what your handle means if you don't mind? It's a bit long for me to memorise it.

To the best of my knowledge it's called a suit in BrE whether it's for a man or a woman. My user name means roughly 'older brother' in English, it' a Hindi word.

You really should go. I can recommend Rajasthan, especially Udaipur, my second home.
