Difficult long sentences (for me)! Grateful if you could help refine the following long sentences:
1. The review should take into consideration the unique characteristics of profile of local people, legal system and cultural background of China.
2. Specific responsibilities of the Panel include-

Thank you for your question. What I mean is to "polish" the sentences. I also understand that it may not be proper to say "refine" the sentences.
