Please help me to check the following exercise.

There is one mistake in each line. Find and correct them

Oh my god, too many incorrect answers .
Please help me to correct them. I don't know how to get them right, anyway.
For instance:

I think there must be "the" before "first". I often see "the first".

And sorry I mistyped sentence 11. It is:

Yes it should be 'the first'.

And N°11 should be 'mathematical'.

Should we change life into lives or are into in?

'Life' should be changed to 'lives'.
