| The usages of "end" and "finish" is confusing. For example, I can say "When I finish reading the book....."。 But I can's say "When I end reading the book....". But grammatically both are correct. So it must have something to do with collocation. I have consulted my dictionaries but failed to sum up the usages. Could you please kindly explain them? Looking forward to hearing from you.
