I'd like to ask what "television feature presentation" implies -- any TV program or a movie broadcasted on TV:


This inability of the human eye to perceive images of very short duration (less than about 1/30th of a second) is actually being experimented with in the advertising industry. Single-image frames of an advertising slogan are interspersed in a regular television feature presentation in the hopes that the viewer will subconsciously perceive the ads without consciously noticing them.


And does "regular" mean "usual" here?

The author lives and works in the USA. The book was published in the USA too. But the author was born in Germany.

It could mean 'usual' or 'ordinary' in AmE they tend to use 'regular' in these situations. In BrE it is not the case.
