    Talking power, ability or competent?

Hi~ Would you help me how to say this naturally please?

Sam: Hey John, I know you have wide network, can you hook me up one job?

B: Yea, I heard your company have job vacancy? Why don’t you give Sam one position?

John: Sorry, I don’t have that power.
Or, Sorry, I don’t have that ability.
Or, Sorry, I don’t have that competent.

B: Yeah, I heard your company has a job vacancy. Why don’t you give Sam a position?

John: Sorry, I don’t have that power. This works.
Or, Sorry, I don’t have that ability. ability doesn't fit here.
Or, Sorry, I don’t have that competent. competency doesn't fit here. Another possible (and natural sounding) reply would be: 'Sorry, I'm not in a position to do that.

    Best wishes,
