Default checkingdialogue

Do you consider the dialogue below acceptable and understandable? It sounds strange to me, specially "could you...." and "thank you for all".

a: Good morning. My name is Mary Lewis. It's my first day here in this office.
b: I'm Joan Lee. It's nice to meet you.
A: It's nice to meet you to. Could you tell me what's my job here?
B: Of course. Let me introduce you to our boss.
Mr. Taylor, This is Mary. She is begining in our office today.
C: Nice to meet you, Mary. It will be a pleasure to work with you.
A: It's nice to meet you, too. The pleasure will be mine. Thank you for all.

Default Re: checkingdialogue

"Could you" is okay, but "Thank you for all" does seem a little odd. The expression is "Thank you for everything" but even that would not, I think, be appropriate here. (BTW, say: "It's nice to meet you too.")

I'd use 'the pleasure is mine', rather than 'will be'. I agree with Ron that 'could you' is fine- it's siounds perfectly reasonable in BE as a way of making a polite request.
