Question to know

hello Sir,
i have just become a member of your company.I want you to tell me that how to use 'would have' or the words like this in any sentense.Apart from this i want to have the instructions about the junctions sentenses.

We use it when we are talking about the past and imagining something that didn't happen:

There would have been a lot of problems if you hadn't come. (The facts= you came and we didn't have many problems)
