Default yellow river

Hi,

"So long boy you can take my place got my papers I've got my pay"

1. What does 'boy' refer to?

2. What does 'got my papers' mean? Is it common usage?

3. Can anyone briefly explain what the quote above mean?

"Put my guns down the war is won"

4. In regular, What would a native speaker say? 'the war has won' or 'the war is won' ? Which one is more common?

Thanks

My guess is that the papers are discharge papers.
