The definition of Cinderella refers to "One that unexpectedly achieves recognition or success after a period of obscurity and neglect".

It does not mention the gender of the one. But we all know that the one is a girl.

But if we want to mention a boy, what word matches "male Cinderella"?

Some say Harry Potter is a male Cinderella.
