Which one is correct?

My favourite fruit is mango.
My favourite fruit is the mango.
My favourite fruit is mangoes.
My favourite fruits are mangoes.

I would say 'Mango is my favourite fruit'. You could also use the plural.

You can say
"Mangoes are my favourite fruit."
"Mango is my favourite fruit."
"My favourite fruit is mango".

You can't say "My favourite fruit is mangoes," because 'is' = singular and mangoes = plural.

It's not grammatically wrong to say "My favourite fruits are mangoes," but it sounds strange.

My favourite fruits are mangoes, apples and rambutans.
