| "Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down" What's the difference in meaning between 'I will lay me down' and 'I will lie down'? Thanks BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER LYRICS |

| I'd try to avoid using sentences found in lyrics, especially in official writing. For simplicity, I'd just use "I will lie down." |
