I know that one is synonym for another, but there must be some difference bwtween them. So,could you, or someone else, give me some exclusive examples for "acountability" and "responsiblity" in which one word can not be replaced by another. Thank you. ^^

In short, "responsibility" can be shared while "accountability" cannot be shared. ^^

Accountability and responsibility cannot always be interchanged.

EG. As administrative assistant to the treasurer of the company, it is my responsibility to issue payments of accounts as instructed by the treasurer. The treasurer is accountable to the board of directors for all expenses which he/she instructs me to pay.
