Default blanket royalty

Can you please tell me what blanket royalty means?

"Inegotiated with people who had products, reports, books... all kinds of things that if boughtindividually would cost you $100. I was able to negotiate blanket royalties, where in reproductionthe cost to me was a nominal $1,000, one-time royalty, plus a $2 printing cost.
We offered prospects two coins whose wholesale cost to us was $20."

Default Re: blanket royalty

A blanket royalty acts like a blanket does. It covers everything.

Rather than paying a royalty for individual items the person negociated a "banket Royalty" that they only have to pay once for an unlimited amount of items.

Does that help?
