Question What is the correct form? to live/living

I came up with a sentence for my report but cannot distinguish between the two verbs.

Please correct this sentence and provide the reasons why they are right or wrong.

The island of Jamaica enjoys a warm climate year-round that
makes to live/living here pleasant.

The island of Jamaica enjoys a warm climate year-round that
makes living here pleasant.

Verb: make + nominal
'living' functions as a gerund, a verbal noun
