Default exercise on tenses

Dear teachers,

Would you please have a look at my exercise?

Complete the following conversation using the correct tense.

KIM : This is the first time I have eaten / I am eating (eat) snails.

YOU : I hate them ! I ate (eat) snail for the first and last time when we went (go) to a
very expensive restaurant for my 12th birthday. I was (be) so sick that I had to go (modal + go) to the hospital! (TO HOSPITAL ?)

KIM : What about frog's legs ? Have you ever had (ever / have) any ?

YOU : Oh yes ! I love them. Mum cooked (cook) some last week.

KIM : I have always wanted (always / want) to taste them!

Many thanks,
Hela

Dear teachers,

Would you please correct my exercise ?

Put the bracketed words in the right tense and form:

Dear Tom,
Well this time next week, you will be somewhere in Europe. I’m sure any mum would worry. Actually you’re very lucky. I’d love to be able to go off around the world. I often wish I (1. travel) ………… had travelled more when I was younger. I really hope you (2. enjoy) …. will enjoy yourself, but do be careful! You’re only 18 after all. Do take care with your money. And I’d rather you (3. not + spend) …… didn’t spend too many nights in your tent alone. It’s so dangerous. I wish you (4. go + not) ……… wouldn’t go so soon. It’s a pity you (5. modal + not + stay)……. can’t stay until after Dad’s 59th birthday. But never mind. I wish Dad (6. be able) …… were able to see you off at the airport, but he’s got some really important business the day of your departure.
Suppose we (7. be) ……. were out to see you in June?!! Just a thought. Anyway, just remember, if you get into any trouble, we’re only a phone call away!

Thank you very much in advance,
Hela

4- I wish you weren't going
7- your answer makes sense with the verb given, but 'came' would be my choice.
