Unhappy asking about english

hi/ i'm a student.i have learnt english since 1998. but I don't know what different between using present for future and simple future
can you tell me now/

The present simple is for for timetabled future events, and should have a time reference:
My plane leaves at three o'clock tomorrow.
The present progressive is used for arrangements:

We're having a party next week.
