    Default Design / Designing

    Good morning,

I am a Spanish>English>Spanish translator and have a doubt in a translation I'm working on. It is abour chairs, and I don't know if I should say:

    a) Designing a chair is not only to make a nice object.

    or

    b) Design a chair is not only to make a nice object.

I think the first option is better, but my boss thinks I should use the second one. Can anyone help?

    Thanks so much,

    Annabel.
