"Got off the other side" -- "got off at my destination".
"toast" -- tired, cooked. Think brain more than body.
Hi
I basically slept all the way to LA, got off the other side and spent four or five days in the mastering room trying to make sense of the album. By the end I was just completely toast. I don't think I was making any sense.
--- I think "got off the other side" just means that he got off the plane in LA (he was flying from Europe)
--- "I was completely toast" - I'm not sure about this one?
