Post How many syllables do the word "area" have?

1) What is a syllable? Plz explain it with these words "area" and "doesn't".
2) How many syllables do the word "area" have?
3) How many syllables do the word "doesn't" have?

A syllable is a:
Segment of speech usually consisting of a vowel with or without accompanying constonant sounds.
Use your hands to clap out how many syallables a word has for eg. area has 3 syllables and doesn't has 2 syllables
