Hello~ I was always wondering the use of ' mis + v ' ...
Can you help me check my sentences please?
A: You told me there is new supermarket over there. Oh my, who said that?
I went there for nothing in such a hot day.
B: Oh, sorry, I think I saw it but I maybe mistaken.

A: Hey, what ‘s up!
B: Sorry but do I know you?
A: Sorry, I misseen person.

A: What? Can you say again? You think I looks like what?
B: Sorry, I misspoken. Can we just pass?

A: Sorry, I misheard that the essay is due to today.
B: You didn’t mishear, it is due to today.

A: Oh, I guess you misunderstood what I’m saying.

Oh sorry, I think I saw it but I may be mistaken.
Maybe and may be have different meanings:
Maybe is usually an adverb and may be is a verb group.

I don't think misseen is a word. What about:
Sorry, I mistook you for someone else.

B: Mispoken is not a word either. Can we just pass?

B: Yes you did hear correctly, it is due to today.

A: Oh, I guess you misunderstood what I was saying. (It is best to keep with past tense not mix misunderstood and I'm-I am which is present tense)
Please don’t feel bad. I didn’t mean that.
It is not always appropriate to use the mis prefix. I hope this has helped you.
