    Default Signed for and on behalf of

    I am currently typing a letter and would like to end it with For and Behalf of (then the company name and then signed by the name of the Director how do I position this on the letter, do I still put yours sincerely or like I have put below:-

    Signed for and on behalf of Smith & Co

    It is not necessary to include this formula, which is very outdated. Since the signatory is an officer of the company, it is accepted that he/she is representing them.
