    Dear Sir,
    Can the word bombastic be used to describe a person's life style or beauty as being overly lavish or is it strictly used to describe an overblown speech or writing? And are the words grandiose and bombastic interchangeable?

    Offhand, I would say that "bombastic" can not be used to describe either a person's lifestyle or a person's appearance.
