Default past tense

Hi. My name is Vesna. I have one question? When you are useing "I did, I was, or I have been"

@I did' is not realted to now- 'I did my homeworl last night'.
'I have done' is related in some way to now- 'I've done a lot of work this week'.

The first sentence is completely finished, bur in the second, the person may or may not do more work this week.
