Default can i change something to make it better? also please check my grammar.

Reading was the most interesting part of the ESL 808. There were eleven reading articles during this semester. These reading were very interesting because they were writing about people’s experience. I learned how to be an active reader in this class. Being an active reader made me understanding articles easily. I also improved my vocabulary skills by reading articles because there had a lot of new words in these articles. Not only improved my vocabulary skills buy also I learned something from some author’s experience.

"These reading were" - reading -> readings

"they were writing about people’s" - delete 'writing'

"made me understanding articles easily" - 'made me understand articles better' or 'made it easier for me to understand articles' or 'helped me to understand articles more easily'

"Not only improved my vocabulary skills buy also" - 'Not only did i improve my vocabulary, I also' ('buy' should have been 'but', but it wasn't needed anyways)

You don't need the "the" before "ESL 808". Otherwise, that's fine. "ESL 808" is the name of the class, isn't it?)

Better:
Those articles were very interesting because they were about other people's experiences.

The reason that last sentence in my previous post looks the way it does is that I ran out of time. It should be:

I not only improved my vocabulary, but I also learned something from some author.

Or:
Not only did I improve my vocabulary, but I also learned something from some author,
