Flattered by?
Hello amigos!
Jermaine Jennas has been flattered by José Mourinho to sign Inter Milan.
What does the speaker mean by that? Has he been pressurized to sign Inter?

Hello Sambistapt. You speak English so well, you must be very intelligent. You are so good looking too with an excellent sense of style. I wish I was more like you, in fact, I want to be you.
BTW. Do you want to sign for Inter Milan.

This is an awkward sentence, and I'm not sure what it means. However, you can look up flatter in a dictionary.
To flatter is to speak in a way that will inflate the ego of the person you're talking to.
To be flattered is to feel good because of a compliment.
The related noun is flattery, which means false compliments.
