A pair of ran shoes
Hi all:
"a pair of ran shoes"
Is this a way of saying they are second-hand or something like that?
I have seen it handwritten in a note and it could also say «a pair of "ray" shoes», but sounded a little strange to me.
Thanks & regards

Are you sure it is ran shoes, not running shoes? "ran shoes" makes no sense to me.
I am not a teacher.

I think she means a pair of Vans-like shoes, but I wish I had a way to upload a little image of the text scanned…
Thanks a lot anyway.
