Since you are comparing two levels of writing competence (i.e., correctly vs. incorrectly) the comparative is called for. Also, please note the inserted comma is also preferred here (some might argue required here) since the sentence inverts the two clauses "normal" positioning:
It will be easier to speak fluently (end of clause one - an independent clause) if we can write correctly (end of clause two - a dependent clause). (-no comma required)
