I understand 'economic depression", but what is "toy industrial depression of infantitle dullness?"
Context:
Americans cannot play. They use mechanical toys instead- toy cranes, hoisting toy loads, toy machinery spreading a toy industrial depression of infantitle dullness.
I do not think mechanical toys apply here. The industrial depression refers to the toymaker industry not the user. Lack of interaction, lack of parent/caretaker-child interaction seems more along the line of infantile dullness. A child needs quality time to develop.Originally Posted by NewHope
