Surprisingly enough, both are right, with the latter being used colloquially.

Re: None of us like \ likes
How come both of them are right !!!!
Which one of them would a student choose if such a question comes in the exam. Where the students have to choose one of them not both ?
regards

I'd go for #1, personally.

engee30: 1- None of us likes to be there
2- None of us like to be there
No - there is a confusion there.
When ' none' means 'not one' we use the singular verb:
None of us likes to be there.
None of the newspapers gives an accurate account of the situation.
When 'none'' means 'nobody', the singular verb is correct BUT the use of a plural verb is not regarded as an unforgivable solecism.
None here dare speak a word against him.
1. None here wants you to feel that you have to...
and
2. None here want you to feel that you have to...
(I prefer the singular verb, 1)

None of the newspapers reported it correctly.
Yes, but you might as well take none as not any:
Not any of us like to be there.

'Not any of us' -???????????????
"Not any more, he doesn't."
There's not any charge on goods received late.
But 'not any of us' -??????????????????????????????????????????
What dialect is that?
END

It's not that I would personally approve of such a usage, but have a look at the text 'hyperlinked' here:
The Running Debate - TIME
(last paragraph on first page)
I merely wanted you to realize that there are two translations possible in the case of none.

Re: None of us like \ likes
Sorry for my jumping in:
1.
None here wants you to feel that you have to...
and
2.
None here want you to feel that you have to...
What about the following? Are they both correct?
1. None likes a person with bad manners.
2. None has [have] arrived yet.
Many thanks in advance.

If you wanted to convey a sense of generality, you'd have to use either no-one or nobody:
No-one/Nobody likes people with bad manners.
The other is only possible within a broader context:
There are two hundred people invited, but none (of them/the people invited) has/have arrived yet.
