I let them get burnt intentionally
Hello~ Can you help me say this naturally please?
A: Hey, your food is almost burnt.
B: I know, just leave them, I let them get burnt intentionally,
they taste better that way.
(After 5 minutes….)
A: Oh, my. It is not burnt enough yet?
How do you eat this?
I couldn’t. Even though you give me $ I couldn’t.

(Usually, 'food' is not countable. But even if A says 'food', B may respond with a reference to the specific items that are being burned to perfection
, so would say 'them'. Otherwise, the response should be: B: I know. Just leave it. I let it burn intentionally. It tastes better that way.)

A: Oh, my.
It is not burnt enough yet? or: Isn't it burnt enough yet?
How do
(can) you eat this?
I couldn’t. Even
though if you g
ave me
[a specific amount of money], I couldn’t.
or: I couldn't eat that if you paid me! or: You couldn't pay me enough to eat that! I hope this is helpful,
Petra

A: Your pizza is going to burn.
B: That's okay. I like it like that.
A: You couldn't pay me to eat it that way.

Re: I let them get burnt intentionally
I do so enjoy the variety of replies, even on the same subject. All correct, but all voiced differently.
