Here is the sentence: I'm still curious as to the reason behind this lottery, I sure wouldn't want to play.

I want to know if you think the above sentence is a comma splice. I think the clause after the comma is dependent on the clause before the comma because it derives its meaning from it. Please tell me your thoughts. Also, feel free to correct any other grammatical errors you see in this text, just please give reasons why the errors are incorrect.

Logically, that can't be so.
If you are puzzled, don't know and are curious as to the reason behind the lottery, then 'the reason behind it' cannot be the fact that is determining your reluctance.

I'm still curious as to the reason behind this lottery. I know, I sure wouldn't want to play!
