I fell in love with the concept of Bookcrossing the moment I saw it. I know that many new Bookcrossers become frustrated when they "free" their books, and then no one journals that the book has been found.

Both free (i.e., to give up personal rights) and journal (i.e., to document) function as verbs:

1. They (Subject) free (Verb) their books (Object).
2. No one [person] (Subject) journals (Verb) that the book has been found (object)
