    Default loop

    Hi

My parent came to see the show, things had moved on between us. Supportive would be the wrong word, but they were in the loop, they knew what was going on and they could see it and feel it.

What does it mean "they were in the loop"?

Maybe it means that his parents started to understand that he wanted to play in a band, however, they were not quite supportive (in the loop)???

In the loop - provided with information and included in a decision-making process. I think that here it means they were informed, up to date..
