I'd like to check how to write a number.

#1 He left the second window from the right a little open.

Can I write "2nd" instead of "second" like #2?
Is it grammatically OK?

#2 He left the 2nd window from the right a little open.

Yes, you can do that, but the first is more usual (and preferable).
