Default career tour

Would anyone please explain what "career tour" means in the following?

The social debates of whether a zebra pile is superior to a rhinoceros pile must occupy plenty of time at dung beetle social events and at the annual career tour of dung beetle universities, but every horned beetle head must turn when lion beetle enters the room.

Thank you.

Annual Career Tour at an University is like a job fair, where there are companies looking for graduates to hire.

Now . . . will you explain all the other parts of that sentence?

Where did you see it?

Thank you for the help.

The quote is from the book called <<Strategies of the Serengeti>>. The intention of the book is to learn various strategies we can apply to our organizations from a variety of animals. And the dung beetle is one of the animals. Here the dung beetle is personified.

The dung beetle is also known as a scarab, and spends its life gathering balls of animal dung, which it then with great effort rolls to a suitable place, where it then lays its eggs which hatch in the dung ball.
