Is this structure correct "Although......but......"
Dear Teachers,
I know the following sentence is correct :
' Although she smiled, she was angry. ',
but I don't know whether this one also sounds correct to a native speaker:
' Two friends although are not in conflict, but refuse to visit each other.'.
It is said when this word ' Although' is used, the word ' But' shall not be used in one sentence. What's your opinion, please?
