Default Comparison

Which one is better?
If none, please edit it:

1) The children from little families are used to be spoiled, and by no means they have seen the grand scene.

2) Children of humble families are well-sheltered by their parents. They have never seen anything like this before.

i like the 2nd better because it's the only one that makes sense

being spoiled means being given lots of things, not being expected to do a lot for yourself. It has nothing to do with not seeing things. In fact, spoiled children are likely to see more than most, living large, taking jaunts to Europe and whatnot
