Default word order

Hi,

I would like to know if the following word order is acceptable:

In line 3 can be found a symbol.

I would say I nline 3 a symbol can be found.

Thanks.

Default Re: word order

Or, 'a symbol can be found in line 3'. All are acceptable. Mine stresses 'line 3', your first sentence stresses 'symbol'. Your second is amidmost.
