Which one has the correct sentence syntax ?
Hi chums,
I'm confused regarding the syntax of following sentences. Pls tell me which one is correct.
He has been caught lying red handed. Or. He has been caught red handed lying.
I think first one is correct. What you folks thinks. Pls tell me with reasonings.

Neither sounds good to me.
He lied and (he) was caught red-handed.
Or:
It turned out that he (had) lied.
Re: Which one has the correct sentence syntax ?
'red-handed' is not an idiomatic adjective that would be applied to lying.:-)

No, it also applies to deviating from the truth.
