Does this sentence sound right?
Hello,
I'm writing a speech to be said in a conference. Would you please tell me if this sentence is good? I'm not sure about the red words.
"The purpose of this symposium is to take this opportunity to exchange and share knowledges, experiences and points of view concerned among several experts in telecommunications sector."
Thank you so much,
Gig

I would make these changes;
The purpose of this symposium is to take this opportunity to exchange and share knowledge, experiences and points of view shared among several experts in the telecommunications sector.

Re: Does this sentence sound right?
Thank you so much LeighS. I still wonder if "knowledges" is grammartically correct in any case. I thought that "knowledge" is uncountable noun. But someone said that you may use "knowledges" if speaking about many areas of knowledge.
Another thing is..if the person I'm correcting this speech for insists in using the word -concern-, will it be just alright to say "...points of view concerned experts in telecommunications sector."?

Re: Does this sentence sound right?
Hi Gig, I honestly don't think 'knowledges' is correct. If you were speaking of more than one area, you might say 'areas / fields of knowledge'. Are you wanting to say 'points of view concerning...?' Concerned just doesn't make sense in this context. Do you mean to use the word 'concern' as meaning 'related to'?

Re: Does this sentence sound right?
Dear LeighS,
I thought so about the word "knowledge" and argued with my colleage. I also suggested that he used "concerning" instead of "concerned". I might not be able to change what he wants to say, though, thank you so much for explaining all these.
