Dear Teachers.

Is there a little difference between (1) and (2)?

(1) When I grow up, I want to be a doctor.
(2) When I grow up, I would want to be a doctor.

The first is a known fact. The second suggests it's either a decision now, or dependent on certain circumstances (if I got the grades...). However, the first sounds more like a child's sentence to me.
