Get kicked off
"I was struck by... how hard he was playing, how honestly he he was playing," Sonny Sharrock said about hearing Vernon Reid on record for the first time. "That's always the thing that knocks me out:how terribly hard some people play. I don't get kicked off any other way."
Hi,
From above context , what does he mean by "I don't get kicked off any other way?"

Re: Get kicked off
Just an example of someone who can't think of how to say something properly, so they make up some bizarro expression that carries some feeling or emotion and we're supposed to say, "Wow, I agree!"
It's slang, and not even standard slang. At least, not in my circles. He's trying to say he is excited or moved by this style and effort of playing.

Thanks a lot for your explanation, jlinger.
That's why I could found it even I looked up on the internet for 15 minutes then I gave up and asked teachers here.
